Face-to-face Counselling
This service is offered by Arafmi for carers, family and friends of people with a mental health problem.
Counselling works in several ways:
• it provides a confidential and non-judgemental space to talk about your feelings and concerns with someone who cares.
• it helps put concerns into perspective
• it helps discover and explore needs and strengths
• it helps find a sense of meaning and self
• it helps with caring for yourself.
Counsellors are professionally trained to relate with, and empower you.
If you are a carer, relative or friend of a person with a mental illness and are over 18 years of age, you are eligible for this service.
